ACUPUNTURE

Acupuncture has been helping people manage pain for over two thousand years, and it's still here for a simple reason: it works for a lot of people, without a prescription.

Most patients come to Sandhill Healing Center because something hurts — back pain, sciatica, arthritis, neuropathy, migraines, an old injury that never fully settled. Others come for stress, sleep, or that worn-down feeling their bloodwork never explains. The needles are hair-thin, most people feel very little, and the most common thing that happens on the table is falling asleep.

Your first visit with Dr. Karen Helmick runs about [X minutes], most of it conversation. She takes your full history — health, medications, sleep, stress, all of it — before doing any treatment, because where it hurts is not always where the problem is. From there you'll get an honest plan: what she thinks is going on, how many visits it's likely to take, and what you can do at home between sessions.
